Celebrating 15 Years!

Today, I celebrate 15 years of marriage to my best friend and my soul mate.  There’s been far more adventure than I could have ever imagined.  I’m thankful for each day.  And I’m so thankful that we are “stuck” together.

What were you doing 15 years ago on this day?

  1. Congratulations! I don’t think marriage is ever what any of us expect starting out. In my case it’s been better and I’m certainly a better person because of it. May you celebrate many more years together wrapped in God’s grace and sustained by his faithfulness!

  2. Congratulations Jon and Leanne. It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years today. We are so so happy that God brought you two together at Grove City College and we are so very proud of your accomplishments too.

You have two beautiful children — Hannah and Isaac — whom we are enjoying having with us this week, too. What awesome kids God gave to you.

We hope you are enjoying your get away together and that you will have many many more years together to celebrate your wedding anniversary and rejoice in God’s love and your beautiful union together with one another.

Have a great week celebrating. We love you. Mother and Dad Lomicka

  3. Congrats – that’s awesome! 15 years ago, I was working during the summer at Disney World. I was teaching 7th grade math in a small Alabama town, but decided to have an adventure during the summer. It was a great 7 weeks!

  4. Congratulations (or as we sometimes say Mazal Tov):

Nothing is more beautiful than when a man and woman meet, marry, find happiness and build a family. I am grateful we are neighbors and look forward to getting to know you both better.

You asked what was I doing 15 years ago. I was a lonely single guy approaching middle age and working at a publishing company. I can tell you that being married is a lot better.

    Always,

    Michael

  5. Hi Jon and Leanne, Well, we sure know what we were doing 15 years ago yesterday and today. We are so thankful to the Lord for bringing you together at Grove City.

When we arrived in Greensburg, PA on the 12th or was it the 11th, it was such a wonderful day:) It was neat to have family come and all the 1st Pres. family(friends).
We enjoyed our time at the Holiday Express with those who stayed there. We had a good time eating together and enjoying each other’s company. On Friday evening, we enjoyed meeting more of Leanne’s family and of course friends of both of you at rehearsal. What a wonderful time:) The Mountain View Inn was so nice (we didn’t really get a preview of where we would have rehearsal dinner). But we sure were delighted with your Mom, Dad and your suggestions and the one we decided to choose, Leanne. I remember what a joy that evening was!

Your wedding day was beautiful! You were beautiful, Leanne and Jon was handsome.
And together you were so wonderful. We enjoyed the ceremony and of course we probably shed tears, but tears were joyful and sense of pride and thankfulness for a daughter in our family…and your love for each other. I’m sure I could go on and on.
We love you both and your dear son and daughter and our delightful grandkids, Hannah and Isaac:)

Hope you are having a fabulous time celebrating this week and enjoying Cape Cod.
You have had so many, many memories of these 15 years. We thank the Lord for you all and pray for God’s blessings and guiding in the years to come…and may they be many, many more wonderful years together.

    With our love,

    Mom and Dad Stolpe
